Vladimir Demeshchenko and Roman Agalakov have made Kazakhstan proud, bringing a total of 5 medals from respective tournaments in Poland and Egypt, QazMonitor reports.
Demeshchenko from Kokshetau won four awards at the Polish Open Championship: two golds in the 100-meter breaststroke and 100-meter freestyle, a silver in the 500-meter breaststroke, and a bronze in the 200-meter freestyle.
Meanwhile, Agalakov claimed silver in the 100-meter butterfly swim in the international tournament in Cairo. He finished 1:02.46 seconds behind Japan. The athlete from Uzbekistan claimed third place.
