Deputy Prime Minister–Minister of Finance Yerulan Zhamaubayev participated in the Central Asian Investment Forum in Tokyo, QazMonitor reports.
The Kazakh delegation was invited by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Government of Japan.
Representatives of the governments of Central Asia, Mongolia, and Japan, as well as the heads of business circles and corporations of Japan, gathered at the Forum to discuss issues of trade and economic and investment cooperation.
During the plenary session, Zhamaubayev made a presentation on Kazakhstan’s achievements in thirty years since its independence. The speech included ongoing economic reforms, the current economic situation in the country, and measures taken to improve the investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan.
The Forum will give impetus to the promotion of economic interests and attraction of foreign investment to Kazakhstan.
