The French company Assystem will cooperate with Kazakhstan in the construction of a new nuclear power plant, QazMonitor reports citing Baigenews.
The national welfare fund Samruk-Kazyna and Assystem signed a memorandum of understanding today. The document offers the possibility of training and technical advice in the creation of the nuclear power plant.
Assystem is an independent engineering group based in Paris. The company provides services in the design, construction supervision, commissioning, and operation of power and industrial facilities.
Assystem is already involved in NPP reactor construction projects in France, Finland, and China. As part of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey, the company is supervising the construction of key nuclear safety facilities.
