The Central Election Commission announced the preliminary results of the November 20 presidential election in Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing Tengrinews.kz.
CEC Chairman Nurlan Abdirov said that 8,300,046 people, or 69.44 percent of the total number of voters, took part in the vote.
Abdirov reported that according to the preliminary results, the candidates scored:
Karakat Abden - 206,206 votes, or 2.60 percent;
Nurlan Auesbayev - 176,116 votes, or 2.22 percent;
Zhiguli Dairabayev - 271,641 votes, or 3.42 percent;
Meiram Kazhyken - 200,907 votes, or 2.53 percent;
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev - 6,456,392 votes, or 81.31 percent;
Saltanat Tursynbekova - 168,731 votes, or 2.12 percent of the votes
The presidential elections were held on November 20, 2022 from 07:00 to 20:00.
