Branches of universities of the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, South Korea and the United States will open in Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing Akorda.

This was announced at the meeting of President Tokayev with students and young scientists in Almaty on November 16.

Several major Russian educational institutions have already opened branches in different cities of the country on the basis of Kazakh universities. And at Kozybayev University in Petropavlovsk, 175 students have begun studying under the program of the University of Arizona. In the near future, Kazakhstan will have branches of universities of the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, South Korea and the United States. Integration into the world educational space will strengthen the competitiveness of our universities and increase the attractiveness of Kazakhstani higher education.
