A follow-up event for the Tashkent International Animation Forum (TIAF’22) that took place on April 18-22 will be organized in Almaty this week, QazMonitor reports.
TIAF’22 is an international animation festival that is hosted in Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent and gathers independent filmmakers from Uzbekistan, Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Israel, Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Back in April, a director from Almaty, Anita Chernykh, won the main prize at the festival with her animated film about poverty and freedom.
Now Kazakh animation enthusiasts will have a chance to participate in some of TIAF activities, like presentations and public speeches.
The event will take place from November 2-3.
