Just two months after her debut, Ayau’s sybyrlaiyn <3 ranks number 1 on the Top 100: Kazakhstan and Top 25: Almaty charts on Apple Music and Viral 50 Kazakhstan on Spotify, QazMonitor reports.
The dreamy track about love was released on September 22 by the music label Zakrytyi Club. It has already garnered more than 100,000 views on YouTube and was used as background music in almost 30,000 videos on TikTok.
The lyrics were written by Ayau herself.
The 19-year-old artist made her debut on September 1 with Sensiz. She was previously a contestant on The Voice Kazakhstan.
The founder of the label is Kazakh musician and producer M’Dee, who has been hailed as one of the most promising artists in the Russian-speaking world. In 2020, Forbes Kazakhstan named him as one of their 30 under 30 – a list of some of the most influential young people in the country.
