In honor of International Museum Day, a mobile exhibition of retro cars was organized in Taldykorgan, Tengrinews.kz reports.
Hundreds of visitors were able to see the cars that were once used by famous akyn (poet) Zhambyl Zhabaev and the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan Dinmuhamed Kunayev. The exhibition also included dozens of other retro cars of the 20th century.
Zhambyl Zhabaev received the blue car in celebration of his 75th birthday. This is the first model of the popular Moskvich brand. According to experts, only ten editions of the car existed at that time.
Dinmukhamed Kunayev used to drive a Chaika. To this day, the car is in excellent condition.
The festive exhibition also featured a retro concert where visitors enjoyed the hit music of the last century.
