Twenty finalists of the MOB FEST mobilography festival, organized by the Dara Presidential Initiatives Fund, are set to undergo a week of training at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, QazMonitor reports citing the President’s TV and Radio Complex.
The festival received over 7,000 video applications from mobilographers aged 16–40, with 100 works advancing to the final stage. Notably, forty finalists received cash prizes, while an additional forty participants completed an online mobilography course. Furthermore, the top twenty authors of outstanding works have earned the opportunity to receive a week of training at the New York Film Academy.
Hosted by a leading American institution renowned for comprehensive training in film production and 3D animation, the program will familiarize Kazakh participants with the intricacies of filming technologies.
