Alimzhan 'watson' Islambekov and Aybek 'TA2000' Tokayev have become the first Kazakh professional players in Dota 2 to qualify for the game's ultimate championship, The International, QazMonitor reports.
On August 31, the Western Europe Qualifier concluded their qualifying games, where eleven teams that didn't earn enough Dota Pro Circuit points competed for two top spots that would allow them to participate in The International 2023, taking place this October in Seattle.
Entity secured the first place in the upper bracket, while Quest Esports took second place. Both teams have Kazakh representatives – Alimzhan Islambekov who plays for Entity, and Aybek Tokayev for Quest Esports.
