Baku, Azerbaijan hosted shows of the 13th season of the country's official fashion week - Azerbaijan Fashion Week (AFW) in which Kazakh designers took part, QazMonitor reports citing Kazinform.
The main theme of Baku Fashion Week was the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and in connection with that the podium of AFW became a meeting point for fashion designers of the two countries. The event was hosted at the International Mugham Center of Azerbaijan.
Shogy, Nomade, Usaliev, A-Sain kids and Asheri brands presented their collections in both modern style and with the national elements of Kazakh culture.
Irina Diosa from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijani designers Fakhriya Khalafova, La Shyla, Soul Desire, Mario Russo and Ny Gyul showed their lines to connoisseurs.
Azerbaijan's first adaptive fashion brand for people with disabilities, Kekalove, also had a special show on the catwalk at AFW.
The first season of Azerbaijan Fashion Week took place in May 2015, which marked the beginning of Fashion Weeks in this country.
