The 2022 FIFA World Cup released an official promo video featuring Kazakh actor and stuntman for Nomad Stunts Zhandos Aibassov, QazMonitor reports.
The trailer filmed to be broadcasted on the national sports TV program Alkass Sports Channels shows an epic desert scene with horsemen riding across the sandy dunes toward a football stadium.
Aibassov participated in the video as a representative of Nomad Stunts, an international stunt team based in Almaty. The actors are globally recognized for their mastery of horseback riding and participated in both domestic and Hollywood film productions such as Disney's "Mulan" (2020), "Tomiris" (2019), "Conan the Barbarian" (2011), and "Diamond Sword" (2016) among others.
Aibassov posted the video on his Instagram page with a comment: "This was my first time riding in the desert." He appeared in movies like "Sweetie, You Won't Believe It" (2020), "The Mongolian Connection" (2019), "Kenzhe" (2015), and more.
The quadrennial international football championship is scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 20–December 18, 2022.
