Kelleny Berchuck, chief member at Siemens Healthineers Corporation in the United States, has joined Kazakh MedTech startup Cerebra as a member of the advisory board, QazMonitor reports.

Kelleny is a highly skilled engineer with more than 15 years of experience creating technology and comprehensive services that improve the lives of patients and healthcare providers. She has led the development and launch of products and services that benefit millions of people worldwide.

Siemens Healthineers is a sector of the German group Siemens AG that produces medical and diagnostic equipment.

Doszhan Zhusupov, the founder and CEO of Cerebra, shared that Kelleny’s expertise is a valuable asset to the team. “We negotiated persistently and for a long time to get someone of this caliber interested in us,” Zhusupov said.

“As a reminder, she has developed and launched 5 new digital products and healthcare services in 4 years, scaling revenue from $0 to +$40 million with triple-digit year-over-year growth. In addition, Kelleny is responsible for strategic multi-year product development plans that ensure commercial success and she has extensive experience in launching startups within a large matrix corporation. That's what we need.”

Cerebra was previously recognized as a "Best Innovation Project" by EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021. In 2022, the startup won a respected competition from Johnson and Johnson and was the best in the APAC region. It is also on Medtronic's list of top 10 APAC startups.
