A fintech startup at the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC), Bank4.Me, has attracted an investment fund of $300,000 from international venture capital firm MyVentures, QazMonitor reports citing the official website of VentureRocket Eurasia.
Bank4.me is an online platform that provides banking services. Users are able to receive a loan or an installment plan for a product from banks all across Central Asia. The startup launched a fundraising campaign on the VentureRocket Eurasia platform in May 2022 and closed it within 3 months.
We have become a convenient hub for banks and BNPL services, where they can attract clients and interact with them on a budget. We see great potential for our solution in the rapidly growing markets of Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and North Africa.
CEO of MyVentures Shakhboz Rakhmonov added: “As a fund, we are interested in scaling our projects in the global market, and Bank4.Me is no exception. Our goal is to expand the geography of business, as well as create and improve products that are convenient for people.”
“At VentureRocket Eurasia we are building a global VC Hub that connects accredited professional investors from all over the world, enabling them to jointly invest in both local and global startups. We are extremely happy to see Bank4Me closing its seed round on VentureRocket Eurasia and believe that they will further enhance the Kazakh fintech ecosystem,” shared Arslan Kudiyar, the CEO of VentureRocket Eurasia.
VentureRocket Eurasia is the first co-investment platform for startups in Central Asia. The startup ecosystem management and investment platform were set up by the Fintech Hub of the Astana International Financial Center and Titanium Technologies, the global research and innovation company.
Bank4Me is planning to spend the raised money on the further development of the platform, extending the team, and growing its global operations.
