Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan temporarily suspends production of Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Creta models. Astana Motors published the statement on its official website.
“Due to the geopolitical situation, the supply of components from the Russian Federation stopped in spring. All this time, the company had been using what was left in stock, and also had agreed on Hyundai Motor Company an emergency quota of parts delivered from other countries. At the moment, further deliveries and new logistic chains are being worked out. All available parts have been used up. New deliveries are not expected in the near future,” the press service reports.
Managers of the dealerships started to work with clients interested in Accent and Creta models: customers are offered to either stay on the waitlist until the model production is resumed or get on a waitlist for another Hyundai model.
Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan emphasized that the company is not backing away from its commitment to increase the production of cars and expand the model lineup. The i30 is already presented in the dealerships, and a compact crossover Bayon is coming soon.
