Bank CenterCredit has published its first 2023 Sustainability Report. The document is prepared in accordance with GRI Standards (Global Reporting Initiative), subject to recommendations of the ARDFM, SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) and TCFD (Climate-Related Financial Disclosures) on non-financial disclosure. The report has been verified* by one of the leading international auditing firms (KPMG), which emphasizes the Bank’s commitment to transparency and reliability of the information provided. This practice is an important pioneering step among Kazakhstani second-tier banks.

The report discloses the Bank’s accomplishments in terms of its key sustainability goals, current projects, and planned initiatives. For instance, in 2023, Bank CenterCredit was recognized as the first financial partner of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the Green Economy Financing Facility, a global green technology financing programme. The Bank will continue its cooperation under this Programme in 2024, remaining a partner of the GEFF II.

The report also highlights the Bank’s social investments in charitable projects in education, healthcare, environment, culture and sports, as well as its contributions to the development and support of employees. Thus, it discloses information on all social initiatives undertaken by the Bank.

More information on these and other initiatives can be found in the 2023 Sustainability Report on Bank CenterCredit’s website.
