Online financial ecosystem Tinkoff announced the opening of its development center in Kazakhstan on the official website of the job search service HeadHunter.kz.

Job vacancies

Tinkoff posted information about 22 vacancies in the new office, which will be located in Almaty, on the website in late March and early April. Among the advertised vacancies is a position for the Head of HR/HR Generalist, who is knowledgeable in the IT market of the region and will be responsible for participating in joint projects between Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Other vacancies on the job listing include systems analyst, NET developer, ML engineer, Frontend-developer, BI analyst, Python developer, and QA engineer.

There are currently 19 Tinkoff development centers in operation.

Tinkoff is the third largest bank in Russia by the number of active clients. The services of the online financial ecosystem are currently used by more than 19 million people throughout Russia.

In March 2021, the founder of the group Oleg Tinkov has already announced plans to bring the brokerage business to the Kazakh market. "Kazakhstan is an interesting market. Small, true, but interesting. We are still considering. We just need to think about how to enter it correctly, because all these countries—CIS countries—are not easy. We think Kazakhstan will probably be the most promising out of the bunch. It’s good for Tinkoff investments and the brokerage business,” he said.
