MOST Holding venture fund launches Irbis GPT — a pioneering project in the field of Kazakh language development through the use of AI, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the fund.

Objectives: The initiative aims to preserve, increase the outreach and integrate the Kazakh language into modern digital technologies for the development of society, economy, and science in Kazakhstan. AI solutions company Gen2B is currently working on the development of a language model. "MOST Holding invites all interested parties to actively participate in the realization of the project," the fund reports.

Benefits for the general public: The Irbis GPT project is focused on broad public involvement in the process of digitalization of the Kazakh language, making modern technologies available to everyone. The fund believes that this will open new opportunities for learning and education, facilitating access to knowledge and information in the Kazakh language, which in turn contributes to the preservation of the national identity and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.

Business scene: From an economic point of view, the development and implementation of Irbis GPT will provide a powerful stimulus for the growth of the IT sector and the digital economy in the country. Enterprises will gain new tools to develop products and services in the Kazakh language, which will open up a market with new prospects and opportunities.

Scientific impact: The launch of Irbis GPT means access to advanced artificial intelligence tools for research and development in linguistics, cognitive science and computer science. The fund shares a plan to establish an AI lab in collaboration with Kazakhstan’s universities.

The bigger picture: The project aims to promote international cooperation, and the exchange of knowledge and experience, strengthening Kazakhstan's position as a country actively developing modern technologies and innovations. Irbis GPT aims to become part of the global initiative to develop multilingual AI solutions.
