On June 20, during the Kazakh-German Business Forum in Astana, the parties signed 23 commercial agreements for joint projects totaling over $1.7 billion in the fields of rare-earth elements processing, machine tools and agricultural machinery production, the textile industry, and green energy, QazMonitor reports citing Kazakh Invest.
German multinational industrial technology company Siemens intends to localize the production of medium-voltage switchgear in Kazakhstan. The agreement on the terms of constructing an equipment manufacturing base in the country, with a project cost of about $22 million, was signed between Kazenergopower and Siemens.
Kazakh geological survey service Creada Corporation and German commodities supplier HMS Bergbau AG reached an agreement on investments and the development of a project for the exploration, extraction, and processing of rare metal ores in Eastern Kazakhstan. The planned project cost is $200 million.
The Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg concluded a framework agreement on financing investment projects under the insurance coverage of export credit agencies. The coverage will provide export credit guarantees to German companies, as well as Kazakh companies collaborating with German partners, to implement projects in Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, Saryarka Polimetally, Nordstorm Switzerland AG, and DEB Deutsche Erze Beteiligungs AG signed an agreement for the construction of an ore beneficiation plant at the Alashpay polymetallic ore deposit. The plant will process lead ores to obtain lead concentrate, which can then be used in the production of various products. Additionally, the project includes conducting exploration for by-product components.

5. Agreement on the construction of a plant for the production of gypsum plasterboards and dry building mixes between the Zhambyl region administration and the German construction materials manufacturer Knauf Gips Taraz.
6. Memorandum of Understanding between the Baiterek Venture Fund and the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations on the creation of a joint working group for the financing of investment projects.
7. Framework agreement on financing joint investment projects under export credit agency insurance between the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg.
8. Agreement on investments and development of a project for survey, extraction, and processing of rare metal ores in Eastern Kazakhstan between geological survey service Creada Corporation and German commodities supplier HMS Bergbau AG.
9. Memorandum of Cooperation between national company Kazakh Invest and German well manufacturer STUWA. The project aims to establish the production of water well equipment and PVC pipes.
10. Agreement on cooperation in the field of transportation between the national producer of fertilizers KazAzot and German logistics service company DB Cargo Eurasia.
11. Memorandum of Joint Implementation of a waste processing and harmful emission cleaning project, as well as carbon fiber production, between Samruk Kazyna Invest development fund and German gas chemicals company AMK Global.

17. Memorandum of Joint Implementation of a textile production project between SKIFMAN and German company Maple Ventures.
18. Memorandum of Cooperation in the implementation of glass packaging production between the administration of the Kyzylorda region, the German glass manufacturer EuroGlass Industries, and flexible heaters manufacturer Horn.

Memorandum of Cooperation in the construction of a multifunctional innovative industrial park between the administration of the Kyzylorda region and Samga Eurotrade company with the German company Medal Verwaltungs. The project will establish the production of fiber cement, gas concrete, and dry building mixtures.
20. Agreement on the supply of machinery equipment between the automotive component manufacturer KamLitKZ and the Industrial Development Fund of Kazakhstan with the German machine tools manufacturer EMAG Group.
21. Agreement on the construction of an ore beneficiation plant at the Alashpay polymetallic ore deposit between Saryarka Polymetals and Nordstorm Switzerland AG and DEB Deutsche Erze Beteiligungs AG.
22. Agreement on the construction of a gold extraction plant between Gold Mining Corp. and Nordstorm Switzerland AG and DEB Deutsche Erze Beteiligungs AG.

Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex and Municipal Economy of Astana city, power supply company Astana Energy, and German gas chemicals company AMK Global. The document outlines the construction of a plant for cleaning harmful emissions, carbon dioxide neutralization, and carbon fiber production.
