Bank CenterCredit is offering financing to upgrade businesses in Kazakhstan under the EBRD line of credit. As of today, the bank has granted over ₸5.6 billion. Kazakh entrepreneurs are buying electric cars and building wind power plants. Keeping this in mind, many other areas are available on favorable terms.

The green loan is designed for projects in agriculture, renewable energy, green industry, and other areas. Experts from GEFF provide free consultations to business clients of Bank CenterCredit and recommendations for suitable equipment selection.

The program enables entrepreneurs to modernize buildings, transport and equipment, as well as purchase materials for energy-efficient insulation, lighting, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. A complete list of equipment for green technology solutions is published on the selector website.

The green loan rate amounts to 20% and allows subsidies as part of the National Entrepreneurship Development Project for 2021–2025. Cashback compensation is also available, amounting to 10% or 15% the loan or the investment amount in energy-efficient solutions purchased with loan funds under the GEFF program. To be eligible for compensation, the business needs to become a participant of the program – submit an application, select equipment on loan, and install it at their facility.

Find out more about the conditions on the official CenterCredit Bank website.

Based on resource efficiency, the green economy evens out the contradiction between economic development and environmental protection. The green technology development is inextricably linked with raising living standards, reducing health risks, creating more jobs, and conserving the resources of our planet.
