Bank CenterCredit is offering financing to upgrade businesses in Kazakhstan under the EBRD line of credit. As of today, the bank has granted over ₸5.6 billion. The program enables entrepreneurs to modernize buildings, transport and equipment, as well as purchase materials for energy-efficient insulation, lighting, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. The green loan rate amounts to 20% and allows subsidies as part of the National Entrepreneurship Development Project for 2021–2025. Cashback compensation is also available, amounting to 10% or 15% the loan or the investment amount in energy-efficient solutions purchased with loan funds under the GEFF program. To be eligible for compensation, the business needs to become a participant of the program – submit an application, select equipment on loan, and install it at their facility.
