An all-cargo aircraft on January 10 took off from Diwopu International Airport in Urumqi bound for Aktobe in Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing Xinhua.
This marked the official opening of the cross-border e-commerce all-cargo air route, linking Urumqi with Kazakhstan.
The total batch of goods amounted to 15 tonnes, valued at over 24.74 million yuan (about $3.65 million), mainly including daily necessities such as clothes, shoes, and bags.
