Kazakh ministries launched a pilot project aimed at providing state services for issuing licenses for the exploration and production of solid minerals, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of MDDIAI.

The project developed by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development (MDDIAI) and Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure allows subsurface users to obtain services through a unified platform at minerals.gov.kz.

Previously subsoil users submitted documents in paper form in accordance with the Rules for submission and consideration of applications for the issuance of licenses.

Now, since November 1, 2022, the launch of the "Minerals.gov.kz" platform enables processing applications in electronic form. This greatly facilitates the work by automating, speeding up and simplifying business processes, as well as giving the opportunity to get a complete picture of the requested site.

For the convenience of users, the ministries published an instruction on how to use the platform.
