McDonald's in Kazakhstan (Food Solutions KZ) has temporarily suspended the operation of its restaurants from November 18 due to restrictions in local supply, QazMonitor reports.
"The company is making every effort to resume work as soon as possible. The opening dates of the restaurants will be announced later," the statement said.
Food Solutions KZ LLP has been working in Kazakhstan for more than 6 years and opened 24 McDonald's restaurants in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktobe, Kostanai and Karagandy. The company employs about 2,000 people.
For the period of its activity, Food Solutions KZ paid more than 3 billion tenge in taxes.
